After some time on basic AI theory studying, and time on data mining, especially on statistical probability modeling techniques, I am coming back to contribute something on e-learning. Likely, I will focus on student modeling and knowledge space.

The goal of E-Learning is to let more people have education opportunity anytime anywhere. In other words, we aim at a life-long education! Research on the intelligence and adaptivity of e-Learning is shunkai's interest recently. Based on the knowledge of Semantic Web, AI, and education environment, shunkai is writing a survey on this direction focusing on the requirement.
Shunkai's next plan
Shunkai Fu will continue his Ph.D study in Ecole Polytechnique, the engineering school associating with University of Montreal. His research will still focus on AI in Education. More specifically, it will be based on Bayesian Networks, a promising theory for future AI development. Good luck to him!
Student Model
To construct effective and efficient intelligent study guide system (SGS), accurate student model is essential. It is the student model tells the SGS what to do, how to do, and why to do. Besides, student model records the "learning" history, which is helpful to review the student's accepting knowledge procedure.
